Dr. Kaden Larson

DM, IU Jacobs School of Music; NCTM

An avid solo recitalist and collaborative pianist, Dr. Larson is also a founding member of the Ensign Piano Quartet and the consonari ensemble project. He holds degrees in piano from Brigham Young University and Indiana University, where he studied with Dr. Scott Holden and Norman Krieger.

Dr. Peng Krol

DMA, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign

 

Dr. Krol is an assistant professor of piano and the academic lead at Dalian Art College, China. She earned both the Artist Diploma and the Doctor of Musical Arts degrees from the University of Illinois at Urbana- Champaign, with the support of the Longford Fellowship and the full- scholarship at UIUC.

Dr. Hyrum Arnesen

DMA, Cincinnatti College-Conservatory of Music

Dr. Arnesen is the Director of Piano Studies at Southern Virginia University. He holds degrees from Brigham Young University and the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music. He is a committed pedagogue who regularly presents and serves as a clinician at national conferences on piano pedagogy.

Dr. Jimmy Cheung

DMA, University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music

Dr. Jimmy Cheung is an award-winning pianist, educator, and collaborator who has performed at prestigious venues around the world. He regularly presents at major pedagogy conferences and serves on competition juries. Cheung holds DMA and Artist Diploma degrees from University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music and teaches at Texas Lutheran University and the Musical Arts Center of San Antonio.

Dr. Mai Mizuno

DMA, University of North Texas

Japanese-American pianist Mai has appeared in various venues throughout the world, from Kennedy Center’s Millennium Stage in Washington, D.C., to Miyama Conseru in Japan. Mai holds Bachelor and Master of Music degrees from Indiana University and a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Piano Performance from the University of North Texas.

Dr. Alber Chien

DMA, Rutgers University

Dr. Albert Chien is an award-winning pianist praised for his “sparkling technique and musicality." He has appeared at Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall and performed internationally in Taiwan and Germany, with festival appearances including Bowdoin, Gilmore, and Atlantic Music Festivals. A sought-after collaborative pianist, he currently serves as Instructor of Collaborative Piano at Texas A&M University–Kingsville.
